Life in the SON is a Christian, Bible based, GOD centered discipleship / mentoring program, established to effectively tutor men and women struggling with unhealthy emotions / feelings, and self-destructive behaviors - ADDICTIONS.

This program endeavors to bring understanding and hope, healing and restoration, to addicts, and to their family and friends affected by the painful realities of addiction.

If the Son shall set you free, you shall be free indeed! - Jesus

There are four lessons:
  1. Love
  2. God's Gift of Salvation
  3. Freedom from the power of sin
  4. Called, Chosen, Empowered (doing our part)

These lessons will take approximately 3 months to complete during which time all students, if they so choose, will be assigned mentors of the same gender to further help them to make wise life decisions and develop patterns of healthy living.

Upon completion of the 4 point lesson plan students will be counseled to take part in the following opportunities to:
  1. Enter into a study of the Gospel of John, or one of two mentoring textbooks (approximately 9 months to complete one study):

Be Ye Transformed, by Chuck and Nancy Missler

Walking With Jesus, by Pastor Benje Graves
  2. Receive counseling to build and nurture relationships
  3. Participate with their mentors (as applicable) in the various works and activities within their Church fellowship and their communities
  4. Called, Chosen, Empowered (doing our part)
